I strongly believe that even if you do not have a personal or professional mentor, you can still be mentored. How? Books and online material! In this day and age, most people rarely shell out ANY of their time to invest in those coming behind them. Although I believe in mentoring wholeheartedly, I believe you can obtain just as much knowledge on a topic by simply picking up a book.  Whether it is leadership, parenting, marriage, Christian living or even personal finances, there are a plethora of  resources available to quench our thirst for knowledge.  And if you are a parent, let your children grow up seeing you read…this is how you set the stage for them to become reader!
